Valmiki Jayanthi.How many Indians aware of it?

Before writing anything about valmiki,I asked some of my friends that who is valmiki?,i got very different answers from them and then i decided to write about him.Valmiki was the dacoit turned saint.He was called as ADI KAVI(first poet).He was born on ashwin month pournami.He had given the structure of Sanskrit poem.He wrote an Epic called RAMAYANA where a man can find numerous things to lead a ethical and spiritual life.He is the first author who wrote poems in the Sanskrit.He is the one of the celebrated saint in Indian Philosophy.

According to swami Vivekananda ,"Knowledge exists we have to discover it".In search of that knowledge my interest moves on the Indian philosophy and tradition.Today due to impact of the globalization and corporate culture among the majority of human beings,our traditional values were degraded especially Hindu traditional values were forgotten.What i found interesting is when the time Aryabhatta invented zero,Bhakara charya proposed eclipse formation theory,sage kanad atomic theory,there is no evidence of equal science in the western countries.But in the present , even though India have many scientists who are competing equally with the world but still majority of technology comes from western countries.While searching reasons for this lagging i got an answer at the point where the Muhammad bin Qasim entered into the sindh region by defeating the king raja dahir ,it is around 700 BCE from that time to 1947 India is partially and some parts fully under the foreign rulers.The time up to 15th century there was not much impact of other cultures in India.The time where other people started searching for light of science.India has its own calendar,festivals,leadership,technology which other western countries could not even dream of it.

Unfortunately after the independence,indian politics were vandered around vote bank,the whole ancient Indian civilization and science were dragged under the limits of the single religion.People are referring newton but not Bhaskara charya,considering einstien but not veda vyas.How many of Indian scientists were working on the principles stated by ancient Indian scientists.A part from this we lost all of their works,we couldnt at least safeguard  their works.German government allowing number of students to do research on ancient indian technology.Why our government not encouraging our ancient studies to the children.

The thing i observed in western civilization and culture is,they propagated their culture by the name of globalization.They cleared of the boundaries of their tradition and made them to follow by the majority of people in the world.Examples are valentines day,mothers day,fathers day,friendship day.VIJAYADASAMI is the one of the festival which is celebrated in remembrance of victory of truth over injustice.None of western men will celebrate this festival. Even though in India there is almost an huge business on the valentines day and all other imported festivals.There is nothing wrong in knowing about other traditions and cultures but here comes the problem where imported culture dominating the one of the worlds ancient culture.They made us to accept that "live rome like roman",but there is no need to live like an Indian in India."ATHIDI DEVO BHAVA"(guest is like god),made india not to act like that.

Valmiki Jayanthi,is the birth of the poetry.Where he was the man who discovered how to write poems in a language.Majority poets now accept Shakespeare as greatest poet but don't even know the name of valmiki.Indian media making programs for the whole day on the valentines day,fathers day etc etc.They didnt allot 2 minutes to valmiki,vaysa,aryabhatta,susrutha,bhagatsingh,subash chandra bose...so on.

It is our duty to find their greatness,because of this pseudo secular government in India we are loosing our traditional wealth.Youth should take initiative and educate others regarding our scientific and traditional wealth.If this worse situation continuous like this there is no doubt that one day will come in future generations where people don't even know spelling of ancient India and culture.

I just want to say to all the youth in India, safeguard our culture by respecting other cultures.This my just inner feeling regarding Indians,we are degrading ourselves,we are hesitating to accept the greatness for our ancient scientists,we are hesitating to tell veda vyas is earlier than einstein who talked earlier about annihilating  the difference between space and time.Come lets learn about our greatest achievements.

I am going to finish with this,New york Herald wrote regarding swami Vivekananda chicago speech "Vivekananda is undoubtedly the greatest figure in the parliament of world religions.After hearing him we feel how foolish it is to send missionaries to this learned nation."

Beauty of Hinduism

All other religions of the world are based on a personality-Islam on mohammed , christianity on christ, buddhism on buddha, zoroastrianism zarushtra.Remove the personality, or have some doubts on It, and the faith is shaken.Hinduism is the only religion that is not based on a personality, but a principle. Doubts have been raised on Srirama and Srikrishna , but the strong edifice of Dharma has not been shaken;it remains crack-proof.
       No disbileiver in Islam or the prophet can be called a Muslim;he is a 'kaffir'.No ridicular of christianity or christ can be considered a christian;he is a heathen.
       Ashoka made buddhism the state Religion of his realm, but did not exterminate Hinduism ,Hindu women were not kidnapped and converted,Hindu men were not killed in any orgy of seneless and brutal conversion-spree.Ashoka,who was a Hindu-turned-Buddhist, was the child of hinduism.Hinduism,the mother Faith,was tolerant of Buddhism-the rebel  child of Hinduism-and the Mother refused to  abandon her son,and the son refused to indulge in matricide.

      Hinduism has never said,'Believe or Perish'.It always said,'Live and Let Live'.Hence votaries of Hinduism did not take the gita in one hand and the sword in the other hand,to enslave and capture the world,converting all the non-hindus to Hinduism.
      No catholic can critisize the pope,but a hindu can critisize a shankaracharya.No christian can disbelieve in the bible or christ, but a hindu can refuse to accept gita or Srirama and Srikrishna. Can a Muslim dare say that he doesnot believe in the koran or the  prophet?          
    When the jewish prophet Moses was giving the ten commandments in the name of the jehovah to the nomadic tribes of  Israel,our Rishis evolved a code  of  conduct, a sheild of dharma for the  right approach to life. Brihadaranyaka Upanishad(1:3:28) says,"Om asato maa sad gamaya-tamasa maaa jyotir gamaya-mrityor maa amritam gamaya(" O lord , from untruth lead me to truth;fromthe darkness of ignorance,lead me to the light or knowledge;from death,lead me to Immortality").
    Hinduism can be never crusified its prophets.If jesus christ had been born in India,he would not have been crusified.If socrates was born in this country ,we would not have given him the cup of Hemlock.Gautama Buddha died of ripe old age in this country among  the hindus,and he was not hunted down like a rabbit by the 'shikari kutas'(hunting dogs).
    S.Radhakrishnan,(The Hindu Wayof Life,p,28).And he elaborates on page 40:"Wars of religion,which are the outcome of fanaticism,that prompts and justifies the extermination of aliens of different creeds, were practically unknown in Hindu India".
     Incessant wars between the catholics and the protestants had ravaged the map of Europe and Ireland since centuries.Extermination of the Ahmediyya Muslims in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan by Muslim fanatics and fundamentals is widely known.The chronic fights between sunni and shiasects in Islam are known to one and all.
      Do the arya  samajis and the sanatanis kill each other? Do the Buddhists and the Hindus ravage each other's homes? Do the kabir-panthis and Dadoo-panthis raze each  other's temples to the ground?
       Semitic religions do not allow this type of intelectual and spiritual freedom.They destroy the temples,they smash the idols,they kidnap the women,they convert the children,they kill the men,they drag unwilling women in their concubinage.We,on the other hand, have never pulled down the spires of their shrines in the name of our god or creed or religion.We never erected mounds of human skulls
after butchering them indiscriminately.We never converted them at the point of the sword.
         Our priests don't lay down norms for political pundits from pulpits in the shrines.Our priests do not issue 'hukumnamas' to the politicians to sign on the dotted line .Our prists do not issue murderous terrorists.Our priests mind their own businss in the temples,for in hinduism religion and politics are two seperate compartments.The stateshould not dicate terms to the rulers.
             Why did the Dalai lama come to India with thousands of his Buddhists fromTibet?Why did the chakma buddhists from Bangladesh come to India?Why did the zoroastrains come to India? If the zoroastrains from Iran had gone to any Muslim country , they would have been forcibly converted ,if not massacred outright .But we gave them shelter , succour and support ,and they continue to be zoroastrians in India,like salt in 'chapati'.

Answer to an 'A'theist

when i have been met with some of my friends,teachers and strangers who are in thought of no god,i.e. 'A'theists,i encountered with routine questions like who is god,where is he,why we cant see him blah blah.The only answer i can say to them is just read any of the PURANA ETHIHASA of hindu scriptures under proper guidence of a good teacher you can get the answer easily.I dont want to say purana ethihasa stories because if i say like that,one of my friend will ask me,you only saying they are stories then how can i belive them,thats why i dont want to say they are strories.

Firstly i want to answer to the questions like where is god and why we cant see.If you want to see the nayagara water falls you cant see them just by sitting in the home,they are invisible from your home because they are far away from you thats y you cant see them.If you  say that there is no nayagara water fall present because i cant see them from here,you are treated as a mad.what should you do,you should take visa,buy a ticket and go to that place and you can watch them,this is the procees.In the same way god also cannot be seen easily there several ways exist to see him.If you really want to see the god then you can practise any ways told by our rishis,because they wrote their experiences as PURANAS.First you should belive them and you should follow them,I promise you can see the god if not then ill agree there is no god.

Some of my friends will accept Rama as a great king but they dont accept as god.If i ask them why, they said to me what he made was nothing more than a man can do,so why  he is god.Reply to this is if rama didnt do any thing more than a human can do then why he was remembered by all of us for 1000's of years.In the meantime there were so many kings came and gone in through time why only Rama Krishna were remembered.What they done to society was cannot be done by anyone else in the world,it can be understand by reading epics like bharata and ramayana.These athiest dont read them just blindly arguing with silly things.

So my dear friends please dont argue in existence of god just go for it  to see him and if you dont find him then explain what you did and what happened to you.Finally i want to conclude with the quote of swami vivekananda

"IF YOUR MIND SAYS SOMETHING,VEDAS SAYS SOMETHING ELSE.STOP YOUR MIND AND GO FOR VEDAS"

What is Secularism?

This is the basic question i want to ask all the indian political leaders.By the definition it is that the governament should work seperatly from religion/religious beliefs.Unfortunately in India securalism means that the governament should work against majority community(Hindu),This is not a simple statement,This is fact.
I want to give some examples in support of my statement.

• When the honorable cheif minister of tamil nadu Mr.Karunanidhi says "The Rama was myth",nobody reacts to that statement but when Arun shouri a MP from utter pradesh wrote a book on islam and explored the cons of that every one reacted that he is not a secularist and unfit to be MP.

• The hyderabad MP Asasduddin Owaisi questioned about the 19 muslims death in karnataka and orissa roits in the loksabha on 24/10/2008 in a great context but i am asking him,why dont he bother about his own constituency that 24 Hindu children,women and youth killed,more than 45 temples damaged,cows in the herd were slaughtered in recent roits in hyderabad.If he was that much secularist why doesn't he raised a single question about killing of pandits in kashmir.If he was a secularist politician then he would have been treat 19 mu slims and 24 Hindus same way.

• If varun gandhi is fanatic leader for quoting"I will cut hands of anti hindus if they harm to us".What happened this word fanatic in case of sajjan kumar who killed several sikhs.He is the member of  a so called securalist party,but even though varun gandhi is the fanatic anti-national leader.

• If any one given support that babri masjid land is for hindus,they are not secularists.Is rajiv gandhi is a secularist leader who had given a lease of whole hindu village to bangladesh for 99 years,now 90% of population are muslims,all hindus in that village were killed and make them forcefully to vacate that village.

If i want to give all examples like this  from the date of indian constitution came into force up to now the blog will not be sufficient to post.But even though from all these years hindus are mostly following secularism thats why india is a peaceful country for any kind of people.Finally i dont hesitate to quote:

"In India wide varieties of religions,cultures,sectors,traditions of people are living in full implementation of fundamental rights and  peace because the majority are hindu community.In the face of earth no religion says SARVA DHARMA SAMABHAVANA -tolerance to other beliefs and faiths none other than HINDUISM."

Why Muslims dont want to sing "Vandemataram"

This is the question asked by the star news to the dr.zakir naik a muslim spokesperson,a good speaker.He replied that even hindu dharmas are against the vandemataram they also says hindus shouldnt bow down to any body except god almighty.He quoted that a muslim never bow down to any body even to his mother and prophet also he bow downs only to the god(allah).He says we love our country but dnt bow down to it.

My Answer:
In Hindu epic ramayana says "Janani jnmabhoomistya svargadapi gariyasi".We hindus belive in god we too bow down to him ONLY.That means not only the god inside the temple,we bow down to the god who is present in the form of our country(Baratha matha),we bow down to the god who is present in our great freedom fighters,we bow down to the god who is present in lakhs of soliders who are sacrificing their life,we bow down to the god who is present in every patriotic man from kashmir to kanyakumari,THATS Y HINDUS ARE SINGING  VANDEMATARAM,NOT ONLY HINDUS EVERY ONE IN HINDUSTAN SHOULD SING VANDEMATARAM.

Finally in any hindu epic never says only hindus will go to paradise,only hindus get punished by god when they commited a crime,never wish only hindus should be happy.It says "Sarvejana Sukhinobhavanthu".All world should be happy this is the essence of Hinudism.

So my dear muslim frnds please its the matter of nation pride we should sing vandemataram.u can bow down to allah who is present in the form of this country.

WHAT IS HINDUISM,WHO IS HINDU.

Hinduism is the only oldest religion on the earth,i dont have any hesitation in saying the oldest religion,because hinduism has no founder and doesnt have its origin it is eternal.It exists before,present and also in future.The only religion will give cons of its dharma and also relevant answers to them why it is there like that.So i request all of you any body post a question r doubt abt hinduism and get cleared,lets make hindu world vth the change in the practise of life.For this i dont want to take guns and i dnt make other relligion people to die,only ill try to change them by saying and make them to know the facts abt hinduism and our epics which were explained by our saints and rishis.
Hindu is a man who have tollerence towards other religion and also safegaurds his own religion.he is the man who practises the life mixed vth humanity service and devotion towards god who created us.We dont critize other relligion but vll make u to know greatness of hinduism than any other religion.
Im happy to answer to u r questions but they should be sensible and i request u plz dnt make comedy arguments and any unparlimantary language on hinduism.ARGUMENT IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED.You can ask any question on living culture,why only hinduism is great and also on our epics and gods.
